本年度までの調査による総報告件数は、小児に対する調査(小児科で実施された成人症例を含む)から 4,887件、成人に対する調査（血液内科で移植された小児症例を含む）から8,096、計12,983件となった。昨年度の10,833件に比べ 2,150件増加した。JMDPでは事業が始まった1993年以降に2,009件の移植が行われており、JMDPの解析事務局に報告書が提出されている件数はそのうち1,901件であった。JSHCTでの全国調査から1993年以降の非血縁者間骨髄移植を除いた件数と、JMDPでの件数を足しあわせると表1のようになる。ここで把握された報告件数でも造血細胞移植件数は年々増加し、1998年では1,957件となった。 　今回JMDPとのデータと照合することにより昨年までの非血縁者間骨髄移植での把握率を検討したところ、JMDPを介して行った1993年から1998年までの成人1,369件の移植のうち1,073件、78.4%がJSHCTに報告されていた。血縁者間での同種移植についても同様とすれば、わが国での血縁者間同種移植総件数はここでの報告件数よりも３割程度多いことになろう。自家移植については未報告症例が更に多いものと推察される。 　The final numbers of transplants reported were 4,887 in the child transplant survey (including adult transplant cases conducted at pediatrics department) and 8,096 in the adulttransplant survey child transplant cases conducted at internal medicine department), in total 12,983. The reported transplants increased by 2,150 when compared with 10,833 transplants in 1998 survey. Since 1993, 2,009 allogeneic unrelated BMTs have been conducted through JMDP, among which 1,901 transplant reports were submitted to the JMDP office.Table 1 shows the sum of the unrelated JMDP transplants and the JSHCT-reported transplants excluding unrelated allo-BMT in and after 1993. It was found that the reported transplants has been incresing to 1,957 in 1998. 　By linking the JMDP data to JSHCT data, 1,073 (78.4%) out of 1,369 unrelated JMDP allo-BMT cases during 1993 to 1997 were reported to the JSHCT surveys. When the coverage rate by JSHCT was applide to the related allo-BMT, a real figure for the related allo-BMT throughoutJanan was expected to be about 1.3 times as many as the reported number. For the autologous transplants, the unreported would be more than the expected from the coverage rate.
